omnigul-audio-fix (WIP)

A script to run after running the "chromebook-linux-audio" project on Acer Chromebook Plus 515 (OMNIGUL) on Fedora

Testing instructions

  • Copy these files to your "chromebook-linux-audio" folder
  • Run the "fix-fedora-omnigul" script
  • Reboot
  • Open the new "Volume Control" app (pavucontrol - if you don't see it you're not on fedora main, possibly silverblue?)
  • Set volume to 64% and Latency offset to 300.
  • Now you have somewhat decent sound! (Just don't put your ears too close to the speakers. Lol.)
  • PROTIP - you can use flatpak "com.github.wwmm.easyeffects" to limit max volume to 64% - but I have attempted to do this for you.
